Easy to reach due to the public transport in oslo. Nice hiking trails. Especially Sogn is nice. Islands good to go to as well.

Not to be missed. Go to the end of metro line 1 and walk down through the forest to the ski jump and get some remarkable views and photos.

Oslomarka is in fact a word locals use for all the wood surrounding Oslo for about 30 miles in radius. We have "Nordmarka" North for center.."Østmarka" east for center,,Frognerseteren is very close to the center here is a very nice restaurant overlooking the whole citycenter...More

Easy access by public transport and Oslo's real treasure! Any time of the year. I love it the most in the summer season. Make sure you visit this area whenever you are in Oslo.

yes,but remember that we probably have snow then so biking will not be just the way you are used to. Enjoy your trip you are very welcome to Oslo

Yes, you get all info. you need at the central station, it takes 30 minutes to reach oslomarka with from there. Easiest is to take the metro to Sognsvann and start from there. Yes, 23 hours ticket is good.
