You take a tram from the sentrum to the base of the hiking trail. There, you may either hike up to the top or around a lake. Very nice!

We walked to the top of Vattakammen over frozen rivers. Beautiful views all the way. We were impressed by the way the Norwegians could run up what we were staggering to cross, but when we saw the cyclist riding down ... wow!!

Myself and my best friend hiked up here thismorning. It was absolutely breathtaking from the minute you step off the bus, all the way until you reach the summit. I would go here every day if I could!!

Great both summer and winter. Nice cabins with lunch and coffee. Diversity in trails. Close to the city. Lights in the cross country tracks during winter after dark. Bus takes you to "Skihytta". Good fishing, hiking, scenery.

This city park is not feeling like one at all. It is natural, desolate and beautiful anytime during the year.
