"Kystmuseet" i both a museum reflecting the ancient times of the coast in Norway and especially Sogn and Fjordane and Flora, but also it reflects how our history made the petroleum and oil industry to be part of our modern life.

The local Coast Museum is a nice size to wander around. Full of local items from days gone by and detailed history of the surrounding area. There is also Snorre, a very interesting display the history oil drilling on the west coast

If you want to learn a lot about the history of Floro, don't miss this museum. They have amazing artifacts from the way of life in the past few decades.

Interesting trip to old times when Flora was established as a fishermans paradise. Even shows modern day history from the oil age as well as photo and art exhibitions.
