Boat Trip

Great day out, make sure you like boat trips, no turning back once you've started. One hour forty minutes to Koh Tao for snorkelling lunch included.

A good tour overall. The snorkeling was marred a little by no visibility in the water (nobodies fault). The speed boat ride was great, make sure to get a seat at the front of the boat when the sea is bumpy! Unfortunately most beaches we went to were riddled with rubbish and broken glass in the sand, had to watch... More

Angthong is overcrowded park with little to no marine. The place is full of tour boats. Little to no facilities. The reef is completely destroyed. Not sure how is this a national park. I guess, we are spoilt with national parks in US and Canada. Not worth a day.

We took a boat across and had a fabulous trip. We had breakfast served on board on the way out and then the first stop was to have a semi or for the really energetic there was a big climb to the top of the hill, I just swam which was great. We then went to the next stop for... More

If you are tired from too much lazing around Koh Samui, head to Angthong National Marine Park. It's about 60 minutes drive from touristy Chaweng beach to the pier and another 90 minutes on the sea by non-speed boat. We got a package deal 1300 Bhat that included all transportation, tea, lunch, kayaking and snorkeling. The entire activity lasted almost... More

The national marine park at Ang Thong is a good day trip. Beautiful islands, nice snorkelling & swimming and also some diving. This is a must do when you visit as the sights & vistas could be breathtakingly lovely. Recommended.

Water in the lagoon is very green as emerald!! You just bring your necessary thing such as sunblock, towel, sunglasses and some cash. Life jacket and snorkel they provide already... More

We booked the day trip with lomprayha. It was a good day out as we met some nice people. The snorkelling was great as the water was crystal clear. The kayaking was good but very short- only 30 mins. Lunch was good. The viewpoint of the lagoon was nice but there was just the lagoon to see. I expected to... More

There are a few different operators who offer different tours, some with sea kayaks and some without, so what with whoever your booking the tour through to see which suits you best. The trip out is great, with a sea breeze and wonderful views, and then when you do the snorkelling the whole place comes alive! Great day out, and... More

Apart from a slightly bumpy boat ride, which is to be expected when you are in a speed boat going to the islands, this is an amazing place to visit. Just look at the pictures.
