Came here on a misty day. Parked on the road between Birling Gap and National Trust Beach Head car park where t.here are lots of places to pay and park. Great views when the mist clears but watch out it's easy to get very close to the edge!

The pay and display car park is quite close to the cliffs so even non walkers can get a good view. £1.20/hour. Definitely watch young children as it is a dangerous place. The numerous memorials, to the poor souls that chose to end their lives there, are very sad.

Very beautiful yet eerie, atmospheric place. A very scenic view across the Seven Sisters. Who would have think that this lovely place would be frequented by those that go sky diving without a parachute ? And they say Eastbourne is one of the happiest places to live huh ? It is very haunted, beware the Black Monk. I am an... More

On our visit we saw people getting ready to parasail from the cliffs and also model aeroplanes as well. On a clear day the views are spectacular.

Been here many times and each time it takes my breath away. Simple natural drama. The views are just so dramatic and amazing. The sense of danger adds to the walk.

Dramatic breathtaking but there is sadly another side too. Have been here many times. Is this pet friendly? If you keep your dog on a lead. Mine tried to chase a seagull and almost had an unfortunate accident. She was an English Setter, which as a breed are as daft as a brush. However, be careful with animals and small... More

A very cold February weekend and we just had to walk up to see the coast at Beachy head, but despite coats, gloves and hats it was just too cold but the views were fantastic

Great views, interesting good tearoom and visitor centre with NT shop. Watch how the cliffs have been eroding.

Beachy Head is just the perfect place for long walks. You need to be fairly fit as the terrain is hilly and in some places very steep. When it's dry and not windy it's just the most amazing place to be!

I have been up here on the downs many times before in all different weather conditions and what ever time you go you will see just amazing views looking out over Eastbourne and surrounding areas. Theres the Lighthouse, a Beachy Head pub/restaurant, plenty of parking if you drive up, but theres a pleasant walk there if you are fit enough... More
