As we went in November the shops are closed for the winter but it's a lovely walk plenty of seats which have been dedicated to loved ones . You can just picture in your minds eye Victorian ladies swishing there way along its boards.

Yes you can go fishing. I think that there's a cost. As you get on the pier, have a look around- it will be pretty obvious how to pay. If you don't see any prompts, fish away and plead ignorance if discovered.
