Unlike the North Shore of the Llandudno the less bustling West Shore is quiet and provides nice views of the surrounding areas. Well worth a visit.

This is a beautiful beach and if you're looking for somewhere a little quieter, then this is ideal. Take your bucket and spade, roll up your trousers and re-live your childhood.

Love it here! The views are breathtaking and it is a lot quieter than Llandudno main beach. The views of the Orme are lovely

This is a beautiful beach with absolutely amazing views! It is much less busy than the North Shore and so it is very peaceful! The beacj is also very, very clean!

Nice walk through the residential area from the north shore. sat outside a pub looking at the sea and watched the world go by. Didn't actually venture onto the beach itself but people had playing games etc. good place to visit.

So peaceful and away from the front. Playground for the children.,Good beach of children to play on when the tifde is out. No sure about swimming in the water because the tide is very strong. The beach has won a blue flag for a clean...More

the beach is fantastic in west shore to watch the kids paddling a nice lido for kids to paddle in if they do not want the sea . also much easier to park with a lovely cafe nearby. and perfect for dogs to paddle in...More

What a beautiful place to be. The views over towards Anglesey are superb. Free roadside parking too. Quieter than North shore but still things to do and see. Ideal for families not wanting the hustle and bustle of the promenade for a day. Lovely walks...More

Check out Conwy council website under dog control . Season controls at 1 May to 30 Sept. All year restriction on part of Rhos beach.

I must admit I have never seen the tide come right in, to cover the sand, hope this helps
