Drink at the top

Nice place to have a drink after you have walked up the great Orme. Friendly staff, lovely pub we only had a drink but the food also looked nice. Reasonable price. Stunning views.

Took a drink here whilst visiting the Great Orme. Superb views over Snowdonia and Llandudno from the summit. A good place to take a breather after exploring the Orme.

Took the tram up to the summit complex as it was a lovely sunny day, they are doing a lot of work in the bar to improve it, lovely light and airy inside and stunning views from the outside seating area across to puffin island and Anglesey. Other reviewers have said the prices are higher, I don't think that was... More

We recently visited Llandudno to spend time with friends who live in the town. We took a trip - by car - to he top of the Great Orme as it was any years since both we and them had visited and didn't really know what we'd find "on top". Lovely scenic trip to the peak and ample car parking... More

After walking up the great orme we had a refreshing drink at the bar. Not cheap but it is a tourist trap. The chap behind the bar was pleased and the beer was good. No food available in the bar but in the Captain's Table next door. We opted not to eat there due to the price. Great views from... More

Popped in to the Randolph Turpin predominantly to get out of the wind, but also to treat ourselves to an ice-cream. It wasn't cheap - £4.50 for 2 single scoop cones, but worth it for the tastiness of the ice-cream and the spectacular views.

The bar is welcome relief after walking or using the tram to get to the top of the summit The only downside is the place is a little dated and drinks can work out expensive. All in all worth a visit.

The bar was a welcome relief after being stuck on the tram for 20 minutes in the cold. It could have been more pleasant if they had not had the doors propped open in a howling cold wind. Again we found this bar expensive as most of them are in Llandudno and the staff were not very helpful, gave the... More
