A little out of the way and I thought I'd made a mistake when I found it's an old church. Staff friendly and welcoming and knowledgeable. We always try to find out what's going on so the tourist centre has leaflets, you can buy tickets...More

Ipswich has a little gem in its Tourist Information Centre. The fact that it is in a converted church works in its favour and does not seem incongrous in any way. It's laid out in such a way for anyone to navigate easily and combines...More

Staff helpful. Good range of information leaflets & giftware. Can recommend a guided tour from here around the west of the town centre - saw lots of interesting places/buildings/statues & learnt about lots of different people. Often quirky, not obvious places.
