On Saturday evening the Museum was open to adults only and lit by hundreds of lamps of all varieties. It was great fun to see all the old vehicles and watch footage of trams, buses and trolleys etc.

Lots of opportunities for children to experience the accessible vehicles. Good size, not too vast. Refreshments were suitable. Staff welcoming. Clean toilets. Shop staff helpful. Great variety of vehicles including 3 wheeler lorry!

Just brilliant. Such loving care has gone to every exhibit. Would need days to see it all properly. The children (primary school age) enjoyed being able to go into the buses etc

This has to be one of the best small museums we’ve ever visited. Well laid out, informative and a genuinely interesting tracing of transport history linked to the development of Ipswich’s industrial growth. Everything about the museum highlights the care and effort put into it...More
