When I saw this somebody had put glasses on him! In winter a cardigan and coat are put on him but nobody knows who does this! It does look strange to see modern specs. on him

I believe this to be the only really accurate statue of the subject I have seen. Though obviously an interpretation in itself. Very human and thought provoking.

Came across this statue when out for a walk from our hotel. its in an area where young and old collide. the statue itself is great and is at one end of a road with several unique shops

Easy to miss this statue normally. But is currently adorned with a colourful knitted shawl. I think this is all part of the pig thing currently going on around the town centre. Nice to have statues like this around town
