Splashdown Waterpark is a great day out for family and friends. There’s something for everyone – from big kids to little ones – with some of the UK’s most exciting waterflumes. For the thrill-seekers, brave the Screamer with its sheer vertical drop. Plunge into darkness on the Black Thunder. And hold on to your pants as you shoot down the Spacebowl like a human pinball. Or if that sounds a bit like hard work, just go with the flow on the Mississippi Drifter. There’s the fabulous Little Buccaneers SplashZone with a starter flume, water play area and Buccaneer Bay, our toddler swimming pool. And, on a hot summer’s day, Buccaneer Beach is the perfect spot for a splash with the little ones. There’s even somewhere to play for little landlubbers. We’re open all year with indoor rides in the winter. In the spring, we take the slide outside where the Mississippi pours into the Grand Canyon. And, in May, bring on the awesome Screamer Tower – it’s fluming good fun! What are you waiting for?

Poor staff, overpriced, disgusting changing rooms and far to hot. The staff were clearly struggling to cope with the ridiculous heat in the waterpark and looked bored, especially when giving out rings or sat in Dragon's Lair. Would not recommend.More

Thanks for your review MarcyBoyColes. Yes it is warm in the waterpark, the water is heated to above 80 degrees and it is necessary to maintain a proper balance between the water and the air temperature to ensure that people do not feel cold. As...More

After a nightmare parking, me and the kids got the (essential) all day ticket. Clean changing rooms, followed by an excellent array of slides of all types, and this is without the summer ones being open! As you're there all day, the café could offer...More

It's a good idea to get a long ticket as the time flies by! Good for children, families and friends. Have sent our hotel guests here plenty of times!

Had a great time on the flumes and I’m not a huge fan of rides. Gave some a miss! Would have been great on a sunny day but was still good. Avoid school holidays if you can! And choose your swimsuit wisely...
