I had wonders what was the draw for people building fabulous houses in Victorian times with enormous gardens near the beach in Poole. Now I know. It’s the endless fabulous sandy beaches. They’re great for walking running or just chilling

Bournemouth has some of the best beaches in the country. They are clean, soft sand and are dog friendly areas along the beach. Would recommend a visit to everyone.

Nice Location on the Beach at Branksome Chine, same people run this place that run the Sandbanks Cafe, staff here are just as miserable and a bit snobby too, food average.

There is no camping allowed in any of the beaches as far as I am aware, but the Beach Tourist gut on the beach just up from Vesuvio restaurant are very helpful & they can advise you x

There were certainly quite a few disabled parking spaces at the end nearest the beach. We always arrived after 11 and there was still space. If not the two chines adjacent also have parking. Not sure about their cost though... More
