Lovely place to walk

Not far from Todwick. Cafe only open occasionally. Very pleasant flat walk around a reservoir and over a bridge. Seems to appeal to all ages.

We did one of the Rotherham doorstep walks which started at Ulley Reservoir and went across to the village of Ulley. Good parking and well maintained paths by the reservoir, pleasant views. Good walk into Ulley. Cafe wasn't open when we went, a few people fishing

I am fortunate to live close to Ulley Country Park, as it's always worth a visit. There's a car park, which has been free for some months, as the ticket machine has been missing/ out of action, & handy toilets. Although there's not an abundance of wildlife, there' s an interesting selection of wildfowl, & we've seen swans, ducks, coots... More

My friends and I go for a walk every 3 weeks to walk our dogs due to work commitments it's something we enjoy doing. We have started to go round local hidden places and local parks. We came across Ulley and decided to go. It was a nice walk seeing the birds as well the dogs enjoying themselves. Overall a... More

We found out there was a new gecoaching walk around here. Although we live just a few miles away its a place we have never visited. the car park did take a bit of finding but it was worth it. There are some lovely sculptured benches, and our walk took us by the water, and then over fields into to... More

I've been here once last year. It was worth visiting as I saw a Heron that day sat on a boat. It is only a short walk. I thought I would have been able to walk a full circle around the lake but you can only walk on one side. The dogs were off the lead and then quite suddenly... More

We took our grandaughter here. We walked around the reservoir which was very pleasant. It took about an hour. There were different birds to watch, we fed the ducks at the end of the walk. You can extend the walk through fields and into the village if you feel energetic. There is a cafe for a drink and bite to... More

We go to Ulley Country Park quite often with a picnic to eat on a bench by the side of the lake. It is lovely for walking either a short walk or a much longer walk, if you wish. The sheep are now grazing which makes this an attraction for children
