Thanks for the brilliant review! We have several audio/visual displays around our permanent gallery (and occasionally in our temporary exhibitions as well) which break down the vast amount of history that we cover into 3-5 minute chunks. There is still plenty of more in depth...More

Was very interesting. Ranging from the Jacobite era of war right through to modern day. Shows combat gear, weapons and conditions.

Glad you found the Museum interesting! We tell the 300 year tale of the local Infantry Regiment and try to portray the human stories to show that it's more than just guns and bullets.

An excellent overview of the history of the Military in the area. Brought into focus wars between Scotland and England but also increased our knowledge of later wars. The art exhibition on Remembrance was also worth spending time in.

Unfortunately as Judy has pointed out, parking on the Parade Square is for staff and Blue Badge holders only. There is a pay and display car park next to the castle which is a short distance away Matt, Museum Assistant

Hello, the nearest car park to us is Devonshire Walk pay and display which is just round the corner from the castle. However if you are a disabled badge holder you can park inside the Castle.
