A must if you are on holiday in Scarborough. This is a beautiful walk wether it is in winter or Summer. There are many routes to take through the gardens all coming out at different places on the South Bay, Spa end

The South Cliff gardens offer a Labyrinth of paths leading from the top all the way down to the very bottom of the cliff to the beach. I lived in Scarborough for 15 years and for the last 20, have always visited regularly to see family since moving away. Every time I go and walk the gardens on south cliff... More

The gardeners work all year round to keep our Italian gardens looking beautiful. I walk through most days taking my dogs down to the beach (Dogs on leads through the gardens) We are about to get a good investment for improvements too. (Please please take your litter home or find a bin to put it in)

This is a wonderful peaceful place to reflect and ponder in. Beautifully tended throughout the year and you can just imagine those victorian ladies parading with their parasols. Feed the squirrels and selection of british birds or just sit and take it all in. Good space for artists.

These gardens are the gem of Scarbourough south cliff. I used to walk through them with my parents every week in the late 1950's, and despite the passage of 60 years they are still as of New Year's Day 2017, idyllic and beautifully kept. There were always the most gorgeous large goldfish in the pool even in the dead of... More

One of our favourite places to visit when we are in Scarborough and every visit there is always something different to see. We were amazed how lovely the flowerbeds still looked on our October visit. Its a lovely walk up from the centre of Scarborough through the Rose Garden and through the Italian Gardens up to the putting green which... More

Do stop here to sit and admire the flowers and shrubs, to feed the squirrels and just to enjoy the peace and quiet. It is such a lovely, calm oasis - a peaceful haven of beautiful lawns, floerbeds and trees, planted around the turn of the 20th century and still giving visitors so much pleasure today!
