Decided to call into the sea life centre while out for the day in Scarborough. It's lovely to see and hear about what work they do to help animals like seals etc Could do with a little more to see however they can only work with what space they have

Me and my partner visited on a recent weekend away, i was lured by 'penguin island'. We arrived at 10.30 am and didn't leave till after 4pm. The animals seem very happy and the keeper that gave talks and the ones we spoke to were absolutely fantastic and very knowledgeable and the animals seem to have a great bond with... More

Very busy! Queues across the car park and had to wait over half an hour despite booking online. If you book online you save almost half the price of walking in. Exhibits and activities good and it's a good size, it was just so busy it made it very difficulty to get up close to the tanks sometimes. Enjoyable morning... More

Ok from the outset I'm not debating the good work Sea Life does for animal conservation or what they do as i simple don't know I'm reviewing my experience simple on the place. Although I support whole heartedly with what the Sea Life sanctuary is trying to do I think £18 to a see a few seals ,a couple of dozen penguins and a few fish is a bit much. It took no longer than 20 minutes to walk around the whole site and on a busy summers day just one poor lady... More

We went to the Sea Life Centre early Sunday morning, not too busy when we arrived but we had pre booked our tickets. Far cheaper when booked alongside tickets for the York Dungeons, £38 for two of us for both events. Staff were friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgable particularly Megan (I think!) who did the talks at the penguin and seal... More

Worth a visit. Lots of sea creatures to see. 5 and 13 year old enjoyed it. The Sea centre is doing a good job of saving the animals .
