I took a trip to Minehead from Bishops Lydeard station and back. What a ride just going back in time. Everything at the station and on the trains was just like the 60s. The volunteers are the ones who make this happen.

It is full of interest all along the route, with a wonderful tea room at Crowcombe station, serving the best cream tea anywhere in Somerset Loads of theme days, we visited the Gruffalo last year, grandchildren adored it

We visited on the last day of there main season and whilst passengers numbers were low the staff were superb, fantastic and friendly. Suitable for all and easy to get on and off at the stations as there is ample time
