Visited with husband and 5 month old baby in a pram. Very helpful service, letting us through the guards carriage with the pram. A lovely way to spend a few hours

An amazing way to travel on the fantastic old steam engines. The turn table fabulous entertainment and a must is the café on the station. They have many events through out the year to suit young and not so young.

As noted there are lots of nice places in MInehead. I'd recommend the Wheelhouse Cafe, 5 min walk from station. Also the cafe on the seafront is OK for the basics.
