This is just a small folly, but despite the door looking like the stonework, and seeming shut, it is worth the time spent to push in to this small chapel-like building. The sound of the waterfalls will increase, and once you get your space on...More

It is a surprise to find this unusual feature as part of the Hermitage close to Dunkeld. The unique building allows visitors to have a special view of the falls and provides great photo opportunities.

This is a great destination to walk or cycle to and to see the power of Mother Nature from. Anyone visiting the Dunkeld area must visit here.

I just simply love it here. I manage to take the best picture of my whole trip of Scotland here. This hall is basically opens up and you are able to walk out and take pictures of the waterfall.

I hadn't heard about this before until my husband explained it to me so I was very glad to visit it and read about its history. The viewing chamber was spectacular looking down on the waterfalls

This is well worth a visit when down near the Hermitage. There are spectacular views across the waterfalls and plenty photo taking opportunities.

This has to be seen to be believed really. The Hall itself is a beautiful little building and has been well looked after and renovated by the National Trust, with artwork and Gaelic poetry (with translations) on the walls. The situation is spectacular, jutting out...More
