This was a smallish house and garden that had many sculptures dotted about for sale. The gardens were nicely laid out and very attractive. We were told the place was closing for good a few days after our visit as they had lost their lease.

We visited Wyndcliffe on Saturday 17 September as I attended a year and a half ago and so really enjoyed my first visit. I was very disappointed that we had to pay £6.00 each and only to find that half the number of sculptures were...More

Gardens had been sadly neglected for a considerable time but one could see that they had once been beautifully designed. Did not like the overpriced often rusty sculpture in such a setting. The cream tea was excellent and sitting outside in beautiful sunshine with a...More

Lovely informal gardens, some stunning sculptures and a wonderful view over the Severn bridge. Lovely peaceful and relaxing atmosphere despite the Welsh weather.

Heavy rain took the edge off this visit which had been planned before we knew the weather would be bad. Really enjoyed the sculptures which were placed in attractive locations amidst the flowers, on the terrace and in the woodlands, but were all priced beyond...More

We had a Travelzoo voucher for a visit here and arrived at lunch time; we had a coffee and sandwich in the tea room - originally the house's ballroom - which were very tasty and served by pleasant staff. There are only a couple of...More

Don't bother.. No entry to house, gardens unkempt. Views over Wye valley is only bonus to this place. Sculptures around garden extremely over priced and not worth the view.

We do appreciate that we all have different opinions and expectations and thank you for your honest feedback. That being said we must confess to be rather dumbfounded by your review given the overwelmingly positive feedback we usually receive. Horses for courses i guess!
