Brilliant show ... first time I’ve been to this venue ... beautiful building . Very friendly and helpful staff... lots of stairs ... maybe a negative for older or disabled folks . The6 would probably have to check accessibility prior to booking a show.

This Opera House will not disappoint for pure splendor - white and gilt. Do look up at the ceiling painting! It has clearly been refurbished relatively recently. The building suffers from limitations of the original design: crowded stairs and limited toilets.

Lovely decorated Opera House. Staff welcoming and cheerful. Traditional theatre - seats comfortable but not much leg room - therefore Chap seated behind me kept kick me (accidently). Theatre smaller than we anticipated but ceiling decor - beautiful. Ice cream in the interval was delicious....More

We are very good friends with the Lancashire Hotpots so couldn’t resist a weekend away when we were told we could be on the guest list. The building is very inviting, it’s really quaint looking from the outside with its coloured glass and traditional facia....More

Sorry, no but if you have a blue badge you can park on the double yellow lines outside the theatre. It is about 20 metres to the disabled entrance
