I go to the opera house about 6 times a year or so, it has a nice slightly old fashioned feel but it has a great programme that covers everything from some very good classical music to tribute bands for Fleetwood Mac and Pink Floyd...More

Its a magical place, so beautiful so much history. I saw the deal on the theatre website which took me through to Buxton Old Hall Hotel. We paid £199 for theatre tickets, B&B, and a two course evening meal, fantastic value.

I love the theatre on our doorstep. We go to the theatre as much as we can. Next visit New Year. Also book for another children's showing going to see Bing. Booked in advance for stars from Strictly xxx

Went to seeing Awful Auntie. What a fantastic theatre. Very Grand and Opulent. You can just imagine what it was like in it's hay day. £100 for a family of seven 4 adults 3 children to see show. Very Reasonable.

The Opera house is small, yet Grand. We went to see the Case of the Frightened Lady, all seats having good vantage in this cosy, historic Theatre.

Don't book when the theatre admits adults with behavioural difficulties in the stalls. They wailed and sighed the whole evening and staff did not intervene . The theatre believe, rightly, that they should be open to people... More
