Hubby studied nearby in his youth and wanted to take us here on the way home from a trip out. Being nice weather and Easter we saw the Bluebells and other wild flowers out in full bloom and it was pretty dry underfoot. The kids found some wooden branch/ hut constructions to play in as well as rope swings and... More

Beautiful woods with well trodden paths and maintained. Beautiful in the Spring with the bluebells, or in the frost/snow.

I love taking the Grand Children here, gives them and me a bit of exercise instead of stuck in front of games console or TV. Finding wonderful "villages" or toadstools on fallen logs and watching the squirrels collecting nuts is great fun. The Grand Children love finding sticks, although they should have been looking for chestnuts - never mind -... More

I have been taking my Labrador dogs walking in these walks for 28 years. Its a very safe place to walk. The bluebells are amazing throughout the whole woods. I love it & so does my chocolate Labrador William.

Hamstreet woods is a smashing place for a walk with easy to follow trails. Great for dogs.Lots of bluebells at the right time of the year. Car park is a bit small.

We are not local but were visiting family in Kent. Found this woods on Google. Not well signposted from the road but we eventually found it and enjoyed a good walk round. Some welcome benches dotted round and a choice of 3 colour coded walks (although plenty of other paths). We will return as we think there would be something... More

Live local to the woods and always enjoy a good stomp deep into the woods . The woods are a lot bigger than they look and some lovely nature involved too Look out for the little elves doors too, keeps the kids entertained and some adults :)

Go there regularly love the walk up there and the peace and quiet. Would highly recommend it for anyone who has dogs or not. Lovely place. Where boots if it's been bad weather as it can become very muddy up there

This is a lovely natural woods, white with wood anemones and blue with bluebells in their season. In autumn there is a kaleidoscope of colours, the floor a carpet of yellow from fallen leaves. There are several signed walks but, beware, the paths can be very muddy at times! A bus stops not too far distant and there is a... More
