The utterly unique and beautiful Windows on the Pier, designed and hand-crafted by Siobhan Jones, working from The Forge Gallery in Worthing, make this the most stunning pier in the world.
Each window, and there are nearly 200 completed, is a tribute to a family member, a friend, or local or international organisations.
A visit to Worthing, without spending time admiring these original works of art, is a visit incomplete.

The pier is lovely - thankfully lacking in the tacky noisy tourist traps of Brighton pier.

The stained glass art wall is beautiful and gives insight into the local community.

There’s a separate area for people fishing.

Highly recommend a visit.

On one of the very rare sunny
days we've had recently we decided to take a stroll along the pier. Really, the main reason we wanted to do that was to look at all the lovely glass panels erected by local charities and in remembrance of loved ones. It's a really great idea and with the sun shining through they look beautiful. Other than that I can't say there is anything worthwhile to see or do unless you are a fisherman or you enjoy fresh air, or like the history of piers of which very few remain.

First time to visit.

It has it's own characteristic which sets it apart from the rest we have been to.

The day was definitely cold and windy but the wall in the middle of the pier with the glass designs helped us walk along. It would have been too cold and windy to walk without it.

Hope the local government would help rejuvenate the place.

Great stroll out over the waves - there is always something special about a pier. We loved the glass panels with all the different organisations and people represented, as well as the photographs.
Didn't go into the amusements - perhaps next time we visit when we have more time.

The pier is part of our heritage and is being slowly repainted. It was overall found to be is pretty good condition and won pier of the year in 2006. Not a great deal to do on there apart from great views across the sea to the wind farms and along the coast. No charges for entering the pier either so if you're on a budget it is a nice hour to spend chilling out. The night club at the end is closed now so I am not sure what that will be used for.

The pier was one way, due to Covid & this made me feel very safe.
The restaurant is being refurbished, but the amusement arcade is open.
There are stained glass windows all the way along the middle & they're amazing. They've been designed by locals & some are in memory of loved ones, which is really nice to see. Some look like they've been made by children & are just beautiful.

Enjoyable stroll today along this historic pier. Renovation work is underway so our visit was limited to a circular walk. Some interesting artwork on display particularly fused glass panels from local community groups.

The pier is currently undergoing renovation and the restaurant at the end is closed. However, it’s still worth going on it for a bracing walk. There is a one-way system in place which works well. The gallery of stained glass illustrations is a great addition
