A pleasure to walk the gardens and around each bend to feast your eyes on the amazing trees and to listen to them rustle in the breeze. A truly outstanding place of beauty. Everywhere you look you can find so many interesting shrubs and insects.

Such a beautiful place to visit and great for young kids to walk about safely. The lakes are stunning and the tree collection is wonderous, with many aged over 150 years.

We went during the waterlily festival and they do look good on the lakes. The rest of the gardens are as you’d expect from a NT property. Can’t say we’d be happy paying over £11 each to visit if we were not already NT members....More

Sunny Monday with not too many visitors meant that the park was not overly busy. Paved paths for wheelchairs and mobility scooters from entrance down to the lkes. Perfect viewing of waterlilies covering surfaces of some of the lakes. Disabled parking areas and tea with...More

Great location for a nice walk in beautiful surroundings. The lakes were amazing and the water lillies beautiful. It was very quiet even on a hot sunny day so spacious that you didn't feel crowded. Definitely worth a visit. Not really suitable for children as...More
