I visited here today with my friend and her 9 year old daughter to see Beauty and the beast, I hadn't visited here in quite a few years but found the place to be very clean with polite staff and comfy seats. The snacks and drinks were a tad on the expensive side but the tickets to the actual film... More

Although it may look a little run down compared to the glossy multi-plex cinemas this cinema was brilliant and a credit to the staff. With a smile and willingness to do anything for you from the manager fetching booster seats to the screen team replacing a spilt drink it was a pleasure to visit. The picture was great, sound spot... Great place to see a film. Small cinema with comfortable seats and good sound. Even when the cinema is full it does not feel cramped.went with my seven year old daughter who would like to go every week.

Recent referbishment is much what the cinema needed looks much nicer and toilets are lovely although could do with another hand dryer as theres only one. I always stuggle with getting comftable in the chairs meaning im fidgeting all the way through the movie. Great cinema. And fair prices.

I visited recently to see A Street cat named Bob. The cinema is very clean, seats were comfy and screen was a good size. As other reviewers have stated the staff are fantastic. They are always welcoming and friendly. I'm looking forward to my next visit to see Arrival.

I took my cousin here to watch "Trolls". It's a particularly old cinema and quite small but a cinema is a cinema! The screen we were in was large and it was clean inside. The staff were friendly and they serve cheesy nachos, popcorn, sweets, slushies and other drinks. Over the road you can go to the amusements or the... More

Well let's start with a positive ! The staff here are so lovely ! Really are attentive and help you out where and when needed , they charge 7.30 for tickets which for me is a lot when the quality of the cinema isn't that great and your booty is numb after 30 mins, the prices of food and drink... Wow. Where do I start? I had not visited the 'Hollywood'/East Coast Cinema for at least 20 years. I was somewhat shocked to discover that the place hadn't really caught up with modern times. The foyer/entrance seems pleasant enough and up to date but I had tickets for a film in screen 3....What a huge disappointment! The screen is VERY... More

It's and old cinema. Old in fashion, decor and technology. Simple simple cinema screening as it should be. No fancy gimmicks or posh screens or super amazing surround sound. Great film portraying quality and sound. It comfortable, fairly priced on tickets and food etc. Films update rather quickly and I've never been in there and it's been full so always... More
