Enjoyable day but gardens not as good as a ticipated. Hot weather did not help as everything parched. Lovely tour of the house with extremely informative guides. Good in care good value

We just went to the gardens as it was a very hot day and we wanted to be outside. We had refreshments in the restaurant which were excellent. The gardens are stunning. Loved the white garden. Would go again.

We only called in because hall is part of HHA and so pleased we did. Timed it just right for a tour of the house, the guide was very knowledgeable,friendly and made the tour interesting. After the hall came the gardens which were absolutely beautiful....More

We only visited the gardens and chose a day where everyone else seemed to have headed for the beach. So we had the landscape gardens next to the hall pretty much to ourselves for most of the picnic we brought alone. Felt like our own...More

Apologies for the late response, there are places to have picnics however Somerleyton is closed Fridays and Saturdays

I think it's on gravel so you'd best phone them and see what they have to say... I have brought a child's pushchair with me before and that got round ok...
