Access to house is with a 45 minute tour of main rooms. Heavy focus on present family and their ancestors. No real time to dig deeper. Kitchens and bedrooms not open - presumably because it's a family home. Gardens looked in need of some TLC!...More

We spent an enjoyable few hours at the gardens. Can't review the house as we only wanted to see the garden. The maze gave us a challenge even though it isn't huge. The tea room was well run by some very helpful and obliging staff....More

It's fair to say that the gardens aren't as large as you might imagine from the brochure but please don't be put off as it is a good day out. I think it really only makes sense if you include the tour of the house...More

I think it's on gravel so you'd best phone them and see what they have to say... I have brought a child's pushchair with me before and that got round ok...
