Dates from 15th Century, but with Monastic connections of much earlier times. A helpful lady attendant provided us with a self guided tour leaflet, which was very useful. Take a little time out to visit this historic and peaceful place in the City Centre.

This building is well worth a visit. It is only minutes away from Piece Hall and is very old and unusual. The architecture and history of the church are remarkable. Helpful attendants in there too.

Helpful, friendly guides and worth a visit as a lot of history. Look round at the windows, monuments and the gravestones.

Not a lot to say the minster is steeped in history, stands in tree shrouded gardens within walking distance of the town centre

I was particularly interested to see the old Minster as my Grandparents were married in this church, It was getting ready for Easter Sunday celebrations.

We'd been to see the War Memorial to the north of the Minster so as we meandered back towards Church Lane the Minster was open so we thought we'd take a look in. It's a magnificent building and beautifully cared for.

Spent a couple of hours wandering around admiring the features of this wonderful old building. Even better returning the following day to join the congregation for their Palm Sunday communion. A joy to enter a church and to be welcomed.
