Just back from a stag do at Craggan where we did gorge walking and clay pigeon shooting. Both activities were excellent and well run. I especaily enjoyed the gorge walking which was brilliant fun and the scenery was awesome...it was also a great hangover cure. The clay pigeon shooting was a good end to the day after a nice spot... Last October I bought the gorge walking for my partner as a bday present. As he works in a hotel we had serious problems getting time to book it. Time passed and every time we booked it rained so heavy the days before we could not go. Finally on the 3rd September (almost a year after purchase!) we managed it,... More

We won a local radio competition a couple of years ago, 5 days 2 activities per day plus accommodation, we did archery, kayaking, golf , canoeing down the River Spey, quad biking ( which unfortunately has stopped), clay pigeon shooting & my favourite gorge walking, loved it all . great bunch of instructors, very professional. Had our meals in the... More

Really enjoyed the raft building experience at Craggan Outdoors. We were a group of mixed ability girls (hen weekend) and the instructors were both encouraging & fun. All had a great time...thanks!

We did the raft building course as part of a hen weekend. Everyone who took part really enjoyed both the raft building and the subsequent raft racing! The instructors were helpful and a good laugh and the facilities were excellent. Overall it was a fantastic experience!

I booked to canoe down the River Spey for a friend's birthday treat and we all had a fantastic morning on the river. The experience for everyone (age range from 11-58 ) was challenging, exhilarating, relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable. The attention to detail and professionalism of 'G' the senior instructor at Craggan is second to none. His experience is clearly... More

10 of us went canoeing along the river Spey. G, our instructor, was excellent & helped us all along perfectly. Views were stunning, river was gorgeous & weather was calm & fresh. Would definitely recommend to others.

Did a full day of activities here which comprised gorge walking, zip wiring and mini quads for the 2 kids. Communication before the day was great especially in terms of advice about the activities - we were complete novices. The day itself was fantastic - gorge walking was a particular favourite and I am not normally into things like this.... More

Checked out this place for its activities, but found it was very over priced for what they were offering. I'd recommend going to aviemore to do all of their activities as the companys are far better value for money!

Interesting review. Given that this person just 'checked out' what we have to offer, I don't believe that she actually sampled our services, so if that's the case then not really realistic to be able to comment on whether we deliver value for money or not. Thousands of customers a year seem to indicate that we do, so will leave... More

Our 3rd visit to Craggan with a group of 16 Boys from Boys' Brigade in Aberdeen area. The 2 instructors made this fun and enjoyable for all who took part. A number of Boys had not kayaked before but instruction, equipment and size of pond made it a safe place for them to learn and pick up skills very quickly.
