Utterly charming step back in time for the whole family. The trains are fantastic and Sir Cecil A Cochrane is a family favourite! We would recommend getting the annual pass as this is a place you will definitely want to come back to.

they run most Sundays. They run from 10.30 till late afternoon, about every hour and twenty minutes. you can buy a full all day return for £10 per adult that allows you to get off at different stations for sightseeing.

From Gateshead you head on the B1426 then follow signs on the A692 and it's on your right hand side. Hope this helps.
