We really enjoyed our tour , Emma our guide was excellent and despite a few unfortunate interruptions she managed to maintain a very professional approach. She explained the history of the building in a very engaging manner and and helped provide an excellent visitor experience.

Castle Coole is a delightful place to visit. Patricia was a truly wonderful tour guide and went out of her way to make us feel welcome when she learnt we were visiting from far-off Australia. The house interiors are very impressive; I can't narrow down...More

Castle Coole has an imposing facade and an interesting interior. The castle is well signposted and is a National Trust property and it would be helpful if the National Trust would consider putting gate widths and heights on their entry gateways as we found it...More

We had a lovely trip to Castle Coole. The grounds are rolling landscape and the house is very elegant. There is a nice coffee shop too!

Yes there's a solid path the whole way round the lake it will be no problem with a push chair. Certain areas of the forest walk towards the old icehouse may be more difficult but should still be ok.

Yes. I believe you have to pay again for a tour of the house.
