- Debbie WGreater London, United Kingdom6 contributionsPuzzlescape Dereham give it a goWe visited Puzzlescape Dereham yesterday and what a great time we had. We really knew very little about escape rooms but the staff were very friendly and explained everything we needed to know. We were put into a room to find the clues and work out how to get out. Considering we were in our sixties we were like children again laughing, joking and working together to find the clues ( I must admit we did need a little help now and again 😂). Time flew by and we loved every minute of it and will definitely do it again. Thank you to the staff who laughed and joked with us afterwards and made our day.Visited November 2023Travelled with friendsWritten November 5, 2023
- Lesley C2 contributionsEdgar the ExplorerToday we completed the last of the four escape rooms. All have been great but today’s was by far the best and we all came out excited to have beat the clock! They are so well thought out, clever and thought provoking but totally doable if you work quickly & think logically. Please open more rooms!Visited April 2024Travelled with familyWritten April 13, 2024
- KellyLA84London, United Kingdom62 contributionsPuzzles based escape roomWe had previously done the diamond escape room and this time we did the Magnesis room which is described as hands on and skills based. There are no hidden objects, just puzzles. When we first walked in the room it doesn't look like there is a lot there, however, some of the puzzles are designed to be time consuming so there is plenty to do. We thought we would give it try but we had never done a purely puzzle based room before so we wasn't sure how we would get on. We managed to get out as a team of 4 with 13 seconds left. Although there wasn't that many, there was a variety or puzzles so there was something to suit everyone. Many puzzles were best to work in pairs so teamwork is key. The host was friendly and helpful and we will definitely be going back to try the Sleight of Hand room.Visited May 2024Travelled with familyWritten June 17, 2024

Good escape room, lots of thought given to the clues and we were kept busy throughout.
As a team of two we did need the clues to steer us in the right direction.
The downside to our experience came at the beginning when we arrived a few minutes late due to difficulties finding parking over one hour, the room is located in central Dereham with only short stay parking around.
We had driven for over an hour and needed to use the toilet prior to entering the escape room, the lady was clearly unimpressed by our request, this started the experience off badly.
We appreciated we would lose time for starting late, however, we didn’t expect such a poor reception.

The ‘Millennium Falcons’ are still buzzing from the EXPERIENCE that was Edgar the Explorer. We’ve “completed” all of the other three rooms, (although technically we’re still locked in the diamond hunt) 🙄. Since then we have been waiting patiently on the promise of a new challenge. After what seemed like forever, the new room, Edgar the Explorer, was finally constructed and finished. The other escape rooms are really good, but this one blew us away. We’re all still smiling now. Excellent work Puzzlescape. Thank you🥰

Totally brilliant escape room. Extremely well designed. It kept us (2 bright adults) busy for a full hour, using all sorts of logic and different skills. Highly recommended. Lovely people too!

What a fantastic day we have had doing the three remaining rooms... Diamond hunt, sleight of hand and magnesis. The host was wonderful at explaining and introducing the rooms. The rooms themselves were challenging and great fun!! Loved them all!! So many great game mechanics in each of the rooms, very well thought out puzzles and lots for everyone and every type of gamer/puzzler!! Thoroughly recommend giving them all a go x

Visited with hubby and daughter 9yr had a great time battling Edgar , we escaped ! This brought back great memories as this was our first escape room we completed 2 years ago and now over 40 rooms later we were back to try another . Lovely family business and unique escape rooms a little different than the bigger chains . Always a warm welcome and lovely and clean with relevant covid regulations in place . Thanks again we had a great time !

Yet again our hosts were brilliant, setting the scene before entering. I wont give anything away but it was amazing, like being in the film Indiana Jones. I have been to lots of escape rooms but this room is the best so far, we can't stop talking about it. Thanks for a fun filled evening.

Great welcome from the host, we couldn't wait to get stuck into the room! We done the hardest room (Edgar the explorer) which we were told has only a 40% chance of getting out so far... No pressure then! Unfortunately we just missed out. There were some great game mechanics used, a few things that were new to us. We felt just a few of the things could have done with a bit more explanation, as there's no way to figure it out by yourself. (Don't want to say too much but the turn handle part).
All in all we loved it, very well themed and alot of fun! Can't wait to go try out their other rooms!!

Yep as Sam C said. It does not look particularly like it is a great attraction on the outside, so don't let that put you off - it's good!
