We aim to please - so please leave us a review. If your visit wasn't quite what you expected we will know what to work on, and if you enjoyed it then our staff will be pleased to have done a good job! (Please make sure you are reviewing the correct Course though) Forest Hills Golf Club has an all year round, par 72 parkland course in the beautiful Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire. The Course is very well drained which makes it payable even after heavy rain. Trolleys are always allowed, although at some periods they may require winter wheels. All our hire trolleys have winter wheels. The large clubhouse is renowned locally for good food and has a bar menu available to the public plus popular Sunday carvery. The large downstairs function rooms and upstairs members bar with balcony overlooking magnificent views of the Course, makes this an ideal place to bring a group, society or Corporate/Charity day. If you don't find the staff friendly and welcoming - we'd like to be the first to know!

We visited Forest Hills to play golf because or golf course was too wet to play. It was surprisingly dry. The cost of a round with a County Card was extremely reasonable. There are some lovely holes on the course and the scenery is great....More

Spending the last two Christmases at different hotels and having two less-than-mediocre mass-catered Christmas dinners has made me appreciate the excellence of the food at Forest Hills. I eat there fairly often and have had their Christmas dinner as well as various carveries throughout the...More

We really enjoyed our carvery lunch on Sunday. The room was lovely and warm and there was a good atmosphere. Our beef and turkey were perfect. There was a good selection of vegetables and the plates were really hot. It's so disappointing when the plates...More

The staff and members here were very friendly and helpful; we played on a Monday and almost had the course to ourselves. It is immaculate and would be suitable for all handicaps. It is a bit hilly on the back nine so wished I had...More

Would recommend the club as a venue for functions. The staff were helpful in organising, and catering, for the Wedding Reception following the marriage of my son Anthony to Sharon. Also, a splendid background for wedding photos.

Twelve of us played Forest Hills last week. When most other courses within a 40-mile radius were suffering from the vast amount of rain that we have experienced, Forest Hills stood up well. There were some temporary tees but all the greens were in play....More
