Walk with dog

Brilliant walk. There is a lovely river with falls and a trail that takes you high up into the mountains. Well maintained paths around and quiet as we went early to avoid crowds.

Not going to blow your mind, but if you are in the area, worth the 1-hour round trip. Parking is very limited, but the shortness of the walk sees people coming and going pretty frequently. People also parked on the roadside after the car park. Think the most impressive views are achieved from finding a way down beneath the bridge... More

Highly recommend a visit here. You can park at the top and walk the mile or so to the falls or walk all the way up from Callander.

set just half a mile back from the town centre, this is a pretty spot to stretch the legs and get some good snaps, not only of the falls but also of the surrounding hillsides and landscape. although accessible via stout path, there is quite a gradient down to the falls themselves, so be prepared to push elderly family members... We visited the Bracklinn Falls last week and it was great! The nature is very beautiful up there. We walked the whole trail and when we came out of the woods, at the highest point of the trail, we had the most stunning view over the surrounding hills. It felt like reward for the steep walk up! The path is... More

Had a lovely walk to the Falls & round the suggested walk. Decent paths to walk on. Good car parking space. Would have been good to have said where maps were available for the walks at the car park though

The falls are reached from the main road opposite the sign for the Roman Camp Hotel . We took our car to the car park ( the road runs past Arden House ( Dr Finlay's Case Book fame ) . The falls are about 1/2 from the car park and it is a easy walk , they are worth while... More

This was a lovely walk and the view were stunning. The walk was a bit steep on the way up but was worth the views. Will visit again in the near future.

We were staying in nearby Thornhill for a few nights and decided to come and walk the Bracklinn Falls Circuit (or more accurately, we came up to see the Bracklinn Falls, and then decided that the path "looked like it went round in a circle"... 3.3miles later and we're back to the car, haha!) Still, it was worth it -... More
