Something here for everyone. The older ones of the party enjoyed a trip down memory lane while the younger ones enthused about the toys and have been inspired to bring out the dolls house and toy soldiers that were lurking in the backs of cupboards.

During a recent visit to Callander we had hoped to visit this and checked out the opening times before arriving in a downpour.confident that it would be open as stated on their web site we walked some distance to it only to discover a notice on the door stating that it was closed till April! Not exactly tourist friendly

We visited this toy shop when we visited Callander last year and when you step over the threshold it really does send you back in the day when things were a lot simpler and we didnt have a care in the world as kids.

This place was mentioned in our hotel directory as a place to visit and from the outside it looks nothing and you could walk past it. On entering the shop yo are totally taken back by all the figurines surrounding you. The price to go into the museum is £3 which is a bargain and could defo charge more and... More

This really is a wonderful collection of toys and books from around the 1940s to date. While everything on display seems a bit cramped, no doubt it is done to show as much as the collection as possible. A great rainy day activity but also a good sunny day activity as well.
