Having had a lovely family day with our daughters wee came accross the Toy Museum in Calendar by chance and what a fabulous hour we spent looking around all the collections of toys from all our yester years. AMAZING

Run by lovely people! We had children aged between 1-7yrs and there was something for them all. The family ticket is marvellous value@£7 and there's a nice wee shop.

Nothing special from the outside but once in I remembered my childhood instantly. A great collection of toys and memorabelia to browse

We visited this toy shop when we visited Callander last year and when you step over the threshold it really does send you back in the day when things were a lot simpler and we didnt have a care in the world as kids.

From the street it doesn't look special. But inside, it's a wonderful return to childhood ! The collection is very complete ! There are a lots of old toys, everybody will find something known !

The shops do have wheelchair access via the front door ramp. Unfortunately the museum itself is located within the house spread over 2 floors so is not suitable for people with limited mobility. Please note we are only a... More
