This is in an interesting historical part of the town, and well worth exploring on foot. There are several interesting buildings in the vicinity.

This gate is in the middle of town and is quite unique. There are several Tudor buildings close by that are worth a look. If you're interested in old buildings I would recommend a visit.

A must visit for me as I remember my father explaining why the East Yorkshire buses had a strange domed roof. It was so they could fit under the North Bar

Whilst dodging the traffic on the way back to our car we paused at this well-described piece of history. There is an informative plaque and it is simply a pleasant pause to reflect on the history of this beautiful, buzzing, classy small town.
