View from the balcony seats a little limited. As with most events here though the production was top class. Seen Around the world in 80 days here and Rich Hall too. The ‘round’ setting is my fave

All the productions I have seen have been excellent. If you haven't experienced "theatre in the round" then i'm sure you will be captivated. Some productions have exceptional, with actors and directors finding new ways to utilise the space available. highly recommended.

I have been to the New Vic Theatre a number of times for a show, often proceeded by dinner. I did not know that this is also a well patronised lunch venue, even when there are no shows on at lunchtime. There is adequate free...More

This is one of our local theatres which we regularly visit and o can't believe I have only just got around to leaving a review! They put on some great plays and shows in what is almost an amphitheatre type theatre. The staff are always...More

The New Vic is a wonderful regional theatre that has all round excellent facilities including quality food, easy parking and available refreshments. The main point however is a theatre that produces its own quality plays often led by the talented Theresa Heskins and an auditorium...More

Yes this was an evening of really good theatre- excellent sets, costume, acting and production. Loved this- just a pity the play itself “Votes for Women” was second rate. The New Vic made the best out of it but why choose such a poorly written...More

Losing faith in the Vic. Another awful play to a half empty theatre on a Saturday night. Not the fault of the actors, just a very boring predictable performance.

Friendly, welcoming theatre in a residential area. Great customer service, excellent performances and lovely food in the restaurant. Even a great little gift shop. Nice lunch venue too.
