The New Vic is an outstanding theatre. It is an unusual and very special "theatre in the round". Great atmosphere and a varied program of performances, never disappoints. Sociable bar area for a quick drink before a show, cafe selling good food if you have...More

This is a beautiful theatre in the round which offers a broad programme. I've seen the ballet, pantos, plays and family sing-a-longs. All have been excellent.

As Patrons we see most plays each season and they tend to take priority in our calendar. "Cyrano" was a joy to watch and "Beryl" was amazing. The play's author, Maxine Peake, is a woman of many talents and should be proud of her play....More

My wife and I frequently attend this excellent professional in-the-round theatre where you can be guaranteed stunning performances often created by their artistic director Teresa Hesketh. I booked me and my fiance tickets to watch Cyrano for Valentine's Day. The play it's self was brilliant. Cannot fault the actors. It blended comedy and drama perfectly. We arrived at 7:15pm for a 7:30pm start. With an intermission at 8:50 or so, we...More

The yearly pantomime is something that has to be seen; always very entertaining and well attended. Car parking is a bit limited for a popular event but there is always the pub next door! A good cafeteria for before and after the show too. You...More
