Loved it

This is really set up for children but I'm a big kid at heart. Loved the garden section with Peter Rabbit's jacket and shoes on the scarecrow.

My wife is a big Beatrix Potter fan and really enjoyed visiting the shop and collecting some presents for the grandchildren. There are little displays of some of the favourite characters from the books near the entrance to the shop.

Wet and windy inthe Lake District is a common occurrence..trying to find somewhere dry for a 6, 4 and a 2 year old is a little harder to come by. We spotted this place and headed straight for it. Never was a Beatrix Potter fan ..enjoyed Enid Blyton more but my children have all enjoyed the revamp of Peter Rabbit... More

We went with 2 young children, they were amazed by the models. Yey are static models but very good ones. There is an air of magic about the place. It's is a short experience but we got a good half hour out of it. It's magical for the kids! Gift shop has a good stock. Although a little pricy! All... More

The World of Beatrix Potter is a great place to spend some time appreciating the creativity of Ms. Potter and enjoy all of the characters that she created.

I forgot how much I loved Beatrix Potter until I came here. A lovely weekend away with my partner and I dragged him here, we both walked through the first door and were mesmerised until we left the gift shop. If I could afford it I would go round and around again. It is a must for any visitor to... More

Really good for a morning/afternoon. Price was only 7.50 for adults, guide books £1! So cheap. You follow the trail around which takes you through all the Beatrix potter books. You can visit the garden where mr McGregor chased away Peter rabbit and see each of the characters. Really fun for the kids & adults. Would recommend!

You can't come to Windermere without visiting this attraction. This is great especially if you come with kids.
