Travelled from Lakeside to Bowness on a quiet Monday morning. The staff are all pleasant and efficient, the boats are spotless clean. The cruise is as I suggest the best place to see the Lake.

Took the trip to Ambleside , would have given excellent if the weather had been better, but all in all a very scenic and pleasant trip , great views of the landscape and some very nice lakeside properties along the way. when you reach Ambleside...More

1st time on lake Windermere we caught the steamer from Bowness to Ambleside rtn, easy and clear information for journey and classes of ferries, great scenery pleasant journey and enjoyable time in ambleside. Look forward to next time.

Took the cruise to Ambleside had lunch a bit to drink then took the boat back 3 hours later, very nice trip on lake, staff were very nice and informative, little breeze on deck to blow the cob webs away, really nice experience.

This is a wonderful cruise, and we enjoyed being able to have a table for the 4 of us so we could enjoy refreshments in comfort. Staff welcoming, and if you prefer extra comfort, make sure you check times and get this particular boat back...More

A definate attraction to do if in the area. There is a variaty of different cruises on the Lake to suit every ones needs.

I'm sure where i booked they only offered 3 routes blue was 45 min long yellow 70 mins and red 90 min i think.we went on the blue cruise as was shortest time as i have young kids but it depends on what u want to see on... More

Dogs are very welcome aboard all our vessels and they get to travel free- they even get their own special ticket!
