Barrow park is a credit to the town, beautiful plantings, bowling green, play area, bandstand, lake, miniature railway, peaceful surroundings, ideal walking area and a greenhouse with beautiful flower displays.

We love this park and visit regularly but recently it is become difficult to walk round without standing in piles of goose poo. Its so bad in places that there isn't foot room between the piles!!!!

Nice long walk, lots of plants and trees, labelling might have helped the visitors and young children to learn about them. No boats at this time.

Call in quite often with the grandchildren. You will struggle to find a public park as nice as this one. The children’s play area is ideal for all ages and the cafe has everything you need for a snack or an ice cream.

The cafe and it's out door setting takes me back to before being a teenager in Patcham and later when I lived in Brighton Sussex. It's a sunny day and there is the same atmosphere. It could be the 60s. Lots of choice of ice...More
