We came here this afternoon and spent a good hour or so walking around. It has a nice atmosphere here and some of the shops are different and it's definitely worth a poke around.

We stumbled upon this market today. It's quite big, with a real eclectic mix of stalls - homewares, fresh meat, veg & fish, clothing, gifts, books, toys and pet supplies. It's nice to see independent traders instead of just chain stores. The prices were very...More

Wandered in here right off the City Market Place with it's imposing statues. Old fashioned indoor market, with a great variety of stalls/shops. Everything from fresh foodstuffs to affordable electrical goods. Worth a stroll through.

It's certainly worth a good look here. There is a lot of choice, everything from meat, fruit and vegetables to knitwear and more. Certainly cheaper than many of the shops nearby.

The market is a great place to explore and stock up on quality food whilst supporting the smaller independent shops, the market will continue to thrive if we continue to visit!
