The old engine is a marvel to see, with its polished brass fittings . Ensure you take a trip on the canal and visit the infamous Wigan Pier.

We visited Trencherfield mill today as my husband is interested in engineering but we all loved it. The volunteers and Bill were unbelievably knowledgable and more than happy to share that knowledge. A fantastic slice of social history and engineering.
