We took the Grandkids to Haigh Hall Country park for an afternoon trip out in the school holidays and found it undergoing refurbishment. With that in mind they still had a great time as there is now a very good activity play ground and an exciting aerial trial feature which they both enjoyed all be it a little scary for... More

Endless fun in countryide environment! Enjoyment of varied parkland and tended verges/green spaces. Low level anticipation became high quality excitement as weather favoured our visit. At first seemed limited play areas but youthful escapism and vivacity won favour ensuring repeat visits

This is a beautiful place to escape to. Gorgeous scenery and loads of woodland walks. So calming and reasonable car park on site.

This is a fun place to visit and to bring your family to play on the park and go for a walk. There is now a high rope area for the children to try. For those who like golf there is also a course.

Visited on Sunday 5th February. Busy as expected. Fab playground for kids, loads better than when ours were little. Ropes course looked fun, quickly completed I would imagine. Crazy golf closed for winter. After a walk we went to the cafe for some lovingly remembered pie, peas and gravy. Well the reviews were correct. Every table full of dirty uncleared... More

Love coming here. Do a lot of running through the park and even though the paths can get quite muddy the wildlife makes up for it. You'll see every kind of woodland creature. The playground looks great as well as the high ropes.

I live locally to Haigh Park and have come a number of times previously. This was the first time we have been in the last 6 months however and I was amazed by the improvements that have been made. Firstly the car park is ANPR activated and uses barcoded tickets. So simple right from the start and dead easy to... More
