Feels like a warm in the park with no traffic and plenty of exercise. A good hours exercise. I would recommend to anyone wishing a walk without specialist walking equipment. You just need strong sensible shoes.

This is a wonderful country park with something for all ages. Lovely and varied walks. Very large and interesting children’s play area. A miniature railway. High ropes. A courtyard with various shops and eateries etc etc.

Foodie Fridays are from 6pm each month, and the Artisan Market is from 10am to 4pm. All advertised on the Haigh Woodlands Park Facebook site.

During the summer the play area is open till the park closes.

Yes they have small donkey rides within the park :) not sure if they’re on daily but imagine they will be over the summer holidays.
