The pier is old but keeps on going nice to have simple and active machines rather than expensive video ones. Prices not that dear and it's nice that the children can have fun and go home with something

I would not visit here unless you want to quite literally chuck money away! While you go into these venues expecting to use more money than you walk way with, you expect some sort of fun in doing it. But with what seems like rigged...More

You cannot appreciate the actual pier, it's just an arcade with noise, lights and wanting your money, money, money. Would have been nice to be able to walk along the pier without having to enter the horrible money grabbing arcade!

NOT A FRIENDLY ENVIRONMENT So my family and I were admiring the view from the bench opposite this lovely “looking” cafe. When to our surprise we get ordered to leave when doing nothing wrong. So we move to a different location on the pier so...More

There are plenty of amusements on the pier and a great kids bouncy castle with helter skelzer at the end. The chip shop was nice although a bit pricey for the portions (small)

Hi Steve, I would just like to reiterate the danger of the seagulls not just on the pier but even in the town of Paignton and surrounding areas. They have become fearless and brazen. We were sat on a bench and my Partner and I were totally shocked at the lightning speed with which a gull swooped and stole the whole of the hot dog he was eating. It happened in a flash; now if they are brave enough to do that to an adult goodness knows what could happen to a child. These are menaces in the sky and it seems wrong that they are protected. We even saw a total waste of resources with two fire engines deployed to rescue a seagull that had become trapped up on Alta Vista road in netting at the top of some flats. I would also like to add that I love Paignton, but people do need to be made aware of this real danger.
