Dartmouth River Boats operate on the stunning river Dart offering daily services to the historic town of Totnes and to the picturesque village of Dittisham. Harbour Cruises operate daily from Dartmouth. There are also wonderful adventures by sea from Torquay, Brixham & Salcombe to enjoy. We are unique in offering combined steam railway, bus and boat excursions for days out in Devon. Travelled on the Steam train and the Boat trip to Totnes finishing with the Open top bus back to Paignton. This trip is excellent value at £27.50. There is plenty of time to visit Dartmouth and Totnes.

Went on steam train and cruise Got the 1030 train from Paignton although busy plenty of seats journey took about half an hour got ferry over to Dartmouth lovely views along the way especially going by goodrington sands which is always lovely took the 1230...More

Brill experience!!! Definitely if your heading to Paignton go your love it it’s a brill train ride and ferry crossing to Dartmouth

We all had a very relaxing time and thoroughly enjoyed the boat, scenery, commentary and especially the cafe/bar and its attendant. It is to be recommended.

Picked up the steam train from Goodrington Sands and enjoyed a 25min journey along the coast. The train terminates right next to the jetty to pick up the passenger ferry to Dartmouth. The station is traditional in appearance in keeping with the old steam trains...More

the steam train is worth every penny took our grand children on it last year from paignton to Dartmouth ,we intended to do the one hour river cruise but sadly we did not plan our day properly .RETURNED last week parked the car at Dartmouth...More

Joined the boat at Totnes for a 3 hour round trip on the river dart, it was very relaxing, and the running commentary from the skipper, Si....had us all in stitches with his facts, I am guessing some were a figment of his imagination though....but...More

Yes. It's not a problem but you need to be mindful of the departure times as you could wait a long time between trains.

There disabled parking at the train station but you need to park in the actual steam train station which is next door and there is disabled parking there So you don’t have to walk far Hope that helps

Yes. There were a number of dogs on the train, all on leads of course.
