I had my seventieth birthday party here, and again for another big occasion, which was someone else's ninetieth. The estate was a private house way back, and visiting is always nice. The food is always excellent, and service also. They have a lovely view of Belfast Lough and the Antrim shoreline beyond.

Ideal setting for wedding. Absolutely beautiful grounds, very well maintained. The club house is old but perfect. Staff wonderful. Everyone friendly and very helpful. Excellent staff. Food was good, presentation slightly lacking. Sometimes less is more. Meal nice but couldn't be described as fabulous. However I did enjoy my time there and would love to go back.

This is the second time I have been at this great course…as a non playing participant. The '8 x golfers' I was accompanying were from north of England & N Ireland, teeing off at 11am on a beautiful sunny morning. This is a beautiful, scenic, well kept parkland golf course which you can't help but stop to look around at…sweeping... More

Great challenge, great course...pleasure to play. Shame this course is underplayed! Micky mouse par 3, that is played blind - I never agree with blind holes! A must play...again if the golf is off, the walk is great

With 3 friends who together we had won an all expenses trip to the royal Belfast golf club. Unbelievable course, extremely hard and challenging, but in fabulous condition. Superb location and views and we were blessed with good weather even in late September. We're looked after by the golf club, on the course and afterwards in the bar area. Old... More

What a joy to play RBGC again. Was great that the course was in great condition after 3 days of heavy rain - not a puddle anywhere.

The long majestic drive gives a general idea of what is in store. The clubhouse imposing and beautiful overlooking Belfast Lough The Guinness on tap very welcome at the end of the round. The course itself reasonably open and not overly brutal. Thick rough only when very wayward, bunkers providing appropriate penalty. Holes 10-12 tight, so require care Lovely views... More

Royal Belfast is one of the finest golf courses in Ireland if not the UK. Green fees are reasonable for the standard of the course and it is rarely very busy. The sea views and general scenery is suburb and the greens and fairways are well kept all year round. The club house is of a very high standard with... More
