We waited until dark before visiting to be able to see the lights. It was very pretty and atmospheric. We started at the bottom and worked our way up while others started at the top. It's obviously dark but I hadn't expected it to be quite so dark, there are places where if unsteady on your feet you could loose... More

Well worth the effort of walking down and then up, although you can get a bus back once you have got to the promenade .

Would have loved to have had our grandchildren there as it would also have been educational for them. Will go back again next year hopefully with the... More

We visited on a family return ticket, meaning that we could visit once during the day and once in the evening, within 7 days of our first visit. There are two entrances to the Chine and we used both on our two visits. It was very pleasant wandering through the lush vegetation, and enjoying the waterfall. There was also an... More

With a group of ten oldies looking for something to do one evening, we made the most of our concession status and bought tickets, The walk through the well lit greenery made for a very pleasant way to spend three quarters of an hour. The plants and lighting is well managed to provide a relaxing ambience. The little information place... More

Very good a night . Only disappointment this time was the fact that the coffee shop prices didn't quite match those displayed. I drink decaff and it was not clearly advertised that decaff tea is more expensive so I couldn't have a tea as I didn't have the extra 10p. The wifi wasn't working either. Staff very good with children... More
