If you like donkeys this is the place to see 91. Years ago we visited their sister sanctuary in Sidmouth, Devon. I think you see more here, and closer to them. Nice to see them in happy surroundings. Nice cafe too.More

It's a no brainer Charity run. Huge number of DONKEYS and some lil piggies too. Really sweet animals that need our support. Spend a couple of hours have a wee cuppa and support the work.

Popped in for as about an hour. Been before quite a few years ago. Run as a charity. Need all the support they can get. Donkeys extremely well looked after and seemed really friendly.

Glad to see these often abused animals given a deserved retirement. We spent a very pleasant few hours observing the animals and a cup of coffee in the cafe made for a very nice visit.

Looking forward to visiting the sanctuary, and supporting their efforts with a generous contribution.. I know it is a rescue operation, so.....can one avoid heartbreaking stories/photographs of neglect or abuse and just enjoy happy animals and be thankful they are being cared for?

Only after a wet period . The site has a concrete driveway through the main areas ,and there are grass walkways through the paddocks .
